Warm ochre and burnt orange set the tone here, with the field divided into horizontal bands that each carry a row of small diamond medallions. The diamonds are outlined in grey, brown and charcoal, and they repeat evenly from end to end, giving the surface a calm, textile-like rhythm rather than a single focal point. Between the medallions sit smaller hooked and arrow-like motifs, and fine stripes separate each band, so the pattern holds plenty of detail while still reading as a warm, even texture from a distance.

The rug was handwoven in Turkey from wool reclaimed from older kilims, which was unravelled and rewoven into this new design. It measures 9'10" x 13'8" (300 x 417 cm) and is about 5 mm thick, so it lies flat and slips easily under furniture. The size suits a large living room, a dining table seating eight or a king bedroom. It weighs about 24 kg (53 lbs), and a rug pad helps it stay anchored in busy rooms.

The earthy palette works well in rustic, Southwestern, bohemian and warm modern interiors, and it sits comfortably beside leather, terracotta and natural wood. Pair it with a cognac leather chair, black iron lighting and a few clay vessels for a grounded, layered look. A generous rug that brings warmth to a big room.
