Small leaves, fern sprigs and star-like flowers are scattered across a sand beige field, drawn in black, charcoal and soft grey. The motifs face in many directions and vary in size, which gives the rug a relaxed, hand-drawn botanical look rather than a strict repeat. The sprigs are spaced fairly evenly, leaving plenty of the warm sand ground showing between them, and the darkest leaves stand out against the paler grey ones, so the surface looks almost like leaves blown across a path.

It was handwoven in Turkey from wool reclaimed from older kilims and rewoven into this nature-inspired design. At 8'3" x 10'11" (251 x 334 cm) and about 5 mm thick, it suits a living room, a bedroom or a dining space for six. It weighs about 16 kg (35 lbs), making it easy to roll up and move. With no pile, it lies flat under doors, and regular vacuuming without the beater bar keeps it neat.

The soft botanical pattern fits Scandinavian, modern farmhouse, cottage and organic modern interiors, and it pairs well with plants, linen and light oak. Because the motifs face every direction, there is no top or bottom to worry about when placing it. A rattan armchair and a few potted ferns would extend the theme naturally.
