Interlocking beige shapes, part hexagon and part diamond, repeat in tight rows across a deep navy field. Each beige motif has a small navy center, so the pattern reads like a tiled lattice, and the strong contrast keeps it crisp from across a room. A narrow navy edge frames the design. Woven by hand in Turkey, the rug uses wool reclaimed from older kilims that has been rewoven into this pattern. At 8'11" x 12'3" (273 x 374 cm) and about 5 mm thick, it lies flat and is easy to move.
